SATURDAY 9 October 2021 the ninth edition of the "Dolomiti Ira Classic" will take place; a skills test for historic cars registered up to 2000 and entered in the ASI (Automoto Club Storico Italiano) calendar as a round of the National Championship. The Dolomiti Ira Classic wins the ASI Manovella D'oro in 2018 and the commendation in 2019. Now in its ninth edition, we would like to repeat the success of previous years, enriching the programme with trials in special locations. These will include the Rossi Barracks in Merano. Saturday from 08:00 to 09:00 there will be sports checks in the beautiful Piazza Walther in Bolzano, from here we will start the first stage. Numerous special stages with all the flavour of a real regularity race for historic cars, from the road-book to the large numbers on the car doors, to the official ASI timekeepers, to the race officials of the South Tyrol Karl Kleewein Association, a scenic route much appreciated from Terlan through Meltina and Avelengo to end in Meran where the trials will be held inside the Barracks. As usual, on Sunday 10th October, the trials will also take place in the Orchideenwelt, a beautiful place where it is definitely worth admiring the beautiful flower trail inside. In short, the first "low-cost" race on the ASI calendar to promote this type of event in the area and to bring young people together: it will be a real success. Therefore, this ninth edition of the "Dolomiti Ira Classic" will be an unmissable event, organised by the SMT Consulting Travel Agency of Merano on behalf of the Veteran Car Team in collaboration with the Municipality of Bolzano, Bolzano Tourist Board.
