The VIII Franco Mazzotti Cup will take place on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October 2016.

The race, organized by Club Mille Miglia Franco Mazzotti, will have its start at Museo Mille Miglia and will then follow a new route through Brescia, Garda Lake and Franciacorta.

On Saturday there will be some timed tests at Ghedi's Military Airport. Lunch that day will be served in one of the aviation's hangar, under the wings of  Tornado of the 6th Wing.

At the end of the first stage, the competitors will have the privilege of having an “aperitivo” at Sirmione's Castle, which is open only on special occasions.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at Sirmione, in a fabulous location called “Pearl of Garda”.

On Sunday, October 9th, you will be able to enjoy the most sensational landscapes of Franciacorta, while the arrival, the closing lunch and the awards ceremony will be inChiari at Villa Mazzotti, residence of the inventor and founder of the Mille Miglia.


Registrations will close on September 26th. The program and the route are posted on the official site


For the regularists the program includes 92 timed tests.

The following leaderboards will be drawn up:

- Sum of penalties,

- Top Car (coefficient 1, year of construction. e.g. construction year 1954 with 100 penalties = 1,54 x 100 = 154)

- Ladies Cup and Sport Category vehicles.
