Entries for the seventh edition of La Marca Classica, a classic and touring regularity race that will take place between Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 June in Treviso, are open from Monday 20 May. It will be valid for the Italian Historic Car Regularity Championship, of which it will be the seventh act; after the four editions held in September, the Treviso event has found a new place on the 2024 sports calendar at the start of the summer.
Entries will remain open until 11.59pm on Sunday 16 June and, as per the regulations, historic cars built from the origins up to 31 December 1990 and, for the 'modern cars' category, those from 1 January 1991 onwards will be admitted.
Headquarters of the event organised by the Automobile Club Treviso will once again be the BHR Hotel in Quinto di Treviso, whose spaces will be made available for scrutineering operations, for hosting the race management, and for the start and finish time controls of the competition. The structure will start to come alive from 11.00 on Saturday with sports and technical scrutineering lasting until 16.30 followed by the race director's briefing. Afterwards, the cars will start moving towards the capital, precisely to Viale Bartolomeo d'Alviano where the "Power Stage" will take place, after which the crews will return to the BHR Treviso Hotel for the traditional gala dinner.
At 9.00 a.m. on Sunday 23 June, car number 1 will be given the go-ahead and will set off along a route that encompasses a large part of the Marca Trevigiana, tracing that of the 2024 edition, with a lunch stop planned for around 1.00 p.m. at the Azienda Agricola "La Dolza" farm in Follina. This will be followed by the restart to complete the sixty-five precision trials before crossing the finish line, again at Quinto di Treviso, starting at 16.00. At 5 pm, the prize-giving ceremony will conclude the event.
Winning the 2023 edition, their fifth out of six personal appearances, were the Scapolo brothers driving a Fiat 508 C.
Combined with the classic regularity event is also the 'tourist' formula, which involves a less time-consuming commitment given that the entire event will take place on Sunday, starting with scrutineering scheduled to begin at 8.00 a.m. and the start set for 11.00 a.m., again at the BHR Treviso Hotel where they will return from 2.51 p.m. and in anticipation of the prize-giving ceremony scheduled for 4.00 p.m., a farewell buffet will cheer the crews. Both historic and modern post-1990 cars are also admitted to this type of race.
