Compared to the 2019 edition held last November, the event will adapt to the championship format and will be based in Bardolino, one of the most suggestive towns on the Veronese side of Lake Garda. The synergy was made possible by the collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Bardolino, the Hoteliers Association, Federalberghi and Bardolino TOP who strongly wanted the fulcrum of the event on the Benaco.

The event will take place starting from Friday 7 February with the sports and technical checks hosted at the Hotel Caesius, the running center of the race. Also in this structure, the award ceremony and the final buffet will also be set up by the race management. The verification procedures will then continue only by reservation and for a reduced number of competitors on Saturday 8 February in the morning, before radar distribution and departure. The car park will be at the Camping Comunale of Bardolino.

The start of the race will be given on the lakefront around 10:00 on Saturday 8 February before tackling the 180 kilometers of the course with over 60 timed tests. The arrival ceremony, always on the lakefront, is scheduled for 16:00 while the location that will host the mid-day light lunch will be revealed shortly. Cars built up to 1990 and 35 modern cars in the queue allowed.

The CAT, Chrono Ability Training will be an interesting initiative, a sort of free practice session on pressure switches which will be organized on Friday in a portion of the public car park adjacent to the Promenade Rivalunga, with a couple of chronometric detections and a screen for simultaneous display of the times. The area will be available for all competitors who will be able to set up the tools and take advantage of an extra training session before the race.

In addition to the Giulietta & Romeo Cup, the event will also award the prestigious Luciano Nicolis Trophy and will offer some special prizes, including hospitality for a stay for two in Phucket, Thailand, a free registration for the edition 2021 and other surprises that will be announced in the first weeks of the new year.
