Coppa d'Era is a classic regularity race for historic cars, valid for the Italian Historic Car Regularity Championship and obviously included in the national ACI-Sport calendar, open to cars from before 1991 and to Italian crews (ACI members with an ACI Sport driver/navigator licence) and foreigners.
Route of 220 km on roads with little traffic through extraordinary landscapes.
Wonderful towns and villages: Pontedera, the base town of Piaggio (where the Vespa was born), Casciana Terme, famous for its thermal baths already known in Roman times, the Etruscan town of Volterra, Casole d'Elsa, Pomarance and the fantastic Castelfalfi Golf Club, where one of the time controls will be carried out with a small coffee-break.
Saturday will be dedicated to the race; Friday will be the time for technical and sporting checks, but also a time to visit museums and wineries; Sunday for those who wish to continue their stay, they can also dedicate themselves to visiting the area.
65 time trials in total, technical, demanding, all on the road, in line ... no square.
4 time controls, two of which are placed after the refreshment breaks, thus guaranteeing the possibility of recovery.
4 Timing Controls located in places of excellence.
The cars allowed are those prior to 1991 in possession of the ASI homologation or ACI SPORT, FIVA.
