The event will take place on February 6-7 between Garda, Monte Baldo, and the Veronese shore of Lake Garda, with a technical, scenic, and fascinating route that has been appreciated by competitors over the past seven years. Race management and checks will be at TH Lazise - Hotel Parchi del Garda.

Once again, the Giulietta&Romeo Cup will officially open the 2026 Italian Historic Car Regularity Championship, confirming its status as Round 1 of the Italian series. The event will take place on Friday, February 6, and Saturday, February 7, with further optimized logistics and a completely redesigned route.

The event headquarters, as well as the start, finish, and race direction, will be concentrated at the Hotel Parchi del Garda in Pacengo di Lazise, in a strategic and easily accessible location, just a few minutes from the Peschiera del Garda motorway exit. This choice guarantees significant logistical simplification for the crews, reducing downtime and allowing for more efficient management of race operations, including scrutineering and the final award ceremony.

The event is organized by the Automobile Club Verona, in collaboration with ACI Verona Sport and A.C. Verona Historic, and is a landmark event in the national historic regularity scene, combining sporting value, the charm of the region, and automotive tradition.

The 2026 route, developed taking into account suggestions gathered from participants in previous editions, will be entirely on asphalt, with a total length of 183 kilometers and 65 timed stages, all different from each other. A technical and selective track, designed to enhance precision, consistency, and management skills of the crews, without repetitions and with a streamlined structure.

The race will cross the hinterland of Lake Garda, with a detour to Custoza and areas linked to wine and the Italian Risorgimento, alternating scenic stretches with views of the lake, the Adige River, and Monte Baldo. The route will also include a crossing of the Comparto del Marmo area, one of Italy's most important quarrying centers, adding further scenic and cultural value to the event.

Particular emphasis will be given to Garda, which will host a double passage on the lake promenade, with two Time Controls and the Power Stage on the lakefront on the evening before the final arrival, offering a highly evocative and visible setting for the public and enthusiasts.

The event will be open to historic cars admitted under the regulations of the Italian Historic Car Regularity Championship, with the possibility of a category dedicated to modern cars, included at the end of the race and with a separate classification, according to a formula already appreciated in previous editions. Special prizes have also been confirmed, including awards for the best female crew, for local crews, and the establishment of the PIT TOP Trophy, reserved for the best-ranked Porsche car, both among historic and modern cars.

There will also be a special hotel agreement at the hotel where the headquarters are located, as an additional benefit for participating crews.
