Two races in one, with the first – the ‘classic’ race – once again taking centre stage for the leading contenders of the Italian Championship in this discipline, marking the fourth of the season’s twelve rounds. As in previous editions, this will be paired with the ‘touring’ race, which will follow the same route as the ‘classic’ race – estimated at around 180 kilometres – but with a reduced number of timed sections, as stipulated by the regulations. Both races are open to historic cars built up to and including 2000 and modern cars from 2001 to the present day; furthermore, the “touring” race will count towards the AC Biella Challenge, of which it is the first of three events on the calendar.

Registration opens at 8 am on Tuesday 10 March and will remain open until 6 pm on Monday 6 April. On Friday 10th, the first of the two days will be dedicated to scrutineering, held in the Event Hall of Villa Ranzoni in Cossato, starting at 5 pm and running until 8.30 pm; for around twenty crews only, and by appointment, pre-race procedures will also take place on Saturday from 7 am to 8 am. Technical scrutineering, starting half an hour later, will take place in the covered market area, also in Cossato. Once the first phase is complete, the road book will be distributed to the crews at 8.30 am; the first crew will set off at 10 am from Piazza Elvo Tempia, also in Cossato, where they will return from 4.30 pm onwards after tackling sixty-five precision stages – thirty-five for the touring class – with the ‘power stage’ in the town centre providing a fitting conclusion to the time trials, before the final act of the two races: the awards ceremony hosted at the Teatro Comunale in Cossato.
